Over the years, many positive habits have been adopted by individuals seeking to improve their quality of life. A habit is considered positive when it enhances well-being and overall satisfaction. Much has been written about forming habits — how difficult it is, how long it takes, the best methods for breaking habits, and how to adopt new ones.

Everyone has the potential to adopt any habit they choose, provided there is a strong enough reason to make a change. In most cases, the motivation to change arises from personal suffering, sadness, or hurt. Eventually, certain behaviors become unbearable, prompting a desire for change.

Instead of worrying about how to change, it’s important to focus on which habits to form and why. Recently, after a discussion with a friend about current habits, it seemed worthwhile to share some of these habits along with a brief explanation of their benefits.
